Jason, brave soul that he is, took on the Drama ministry at St. Matthew's. His first task was the Christmas pageant. This year's play was called "No Ordinary Night." The teen angels are supposed to watch over the little angels, but there is so much excitement in the air, they leave the little ones alone. The little angels want in on the action, so they go looking for the teens. Along the way, they find a bright star and some helpful shepherds to lead them to a newborn baby boy who has come to save the world. Throw in some way cute little ones and hilarity ensues.
Thanks to Amy Roller, took the photos.

| The angels and shepherds sing the opening number, "No Ordinary Night." Some of the littlest angels have their own ideas about the staging. | ||
| The teen angels shuffle the little angels off to bed then discuss all the excitement in the air. | ||
| All kinds of excitement, there is. For some reason, the shepherds are in with the teen angels, and the littlest angels don't like the stage direction that they're supposed to be sleeping. | ||
| The teen angels want to see what's going on and sing for the new baby, but what about the little ones? They'll be fine, they think. After all, they're in heaven, what could possibly go wrong? | ||
| The little ones wake up to find the teen angels have left them alone. They express their outrage by singing "Those teen angels are teenage fools." | ||
| The little angels decide to run after the teen angels. The littlest angel decided it would be more fun to steal one of the shepherds' staffs and one bonk the sound guy on the head. We couldn't get a pic of that in time, but we have the evidence in his hands to prove it happened. | ||
| Along the way, they see a bright star who tells them a savior has been born in Bethlehem. "Jesus Christ has been born at last, you might want to get there fast." | ||
| Then they run into some shepherds, who sing them a lullabye. Oh, how cute the angels are when they sleep. | ||
| Hey, look. It's Joseph, Mary and Giant Baby Jesus. Yes, Jesus is a 1 year old girl. The teen angels have found the baby they are supposed to sing for. | ||
| Giant Baby Jesus likes the teen angels' music and dances along. That arm movement is dancing. Or maybe He's blessing them. | ||
| The little angels want to sing to Jesus too. Giant Baby Jesus seems ok with this arrangement. | ||
| The teen angels and little angels are reunited so everyone can sing to Giant Baby Jesus. | ||
| Singing, dancing, it's all good. The little rugrat found his mommy in the audience. Mary sings a lullabye to a very well-behaved Giant Baby Jesus. | ||

| Yea, Jesus is born. Joy to the world. Pageant is over and the church loved it. | ||
